Peter Ortega - It is from his father Ben Ortega Sr. that Peter receives his inspiration. Peter's work is much like his father's in that their wood carvings are folk art with meek and humble characteristics. Peter states, "I enjoy creating each piece of art because every piece of wood is different, challenging and rewarding." Most of all, Peter is content because he knows his wood carvings bring happiness to people.
